August 8, 2010 - change of venue for 2010! West 20 Ranch & Saddle Company - East Troy, WI Judge: Tia Koehler Julie Cyra, a long time supporter of 4-H, has graciously welcomed us to her facility. An economic decision; we can no longer remain profitable in our long-time home where we are also at the mercy of the elements. Please download and post our showbill to help promote this event. Post it at the barn you board in or anywhere else you can think of where potential attendees will see it. And watch for our show bill to be published in the April issue of the Wisconsin Horsemen's News. |

This year’s tack sale, held on Sunday, February 21st, was a phenomenal success; thanks to the outstanding effort of a few select individuals, (Tim & Jean Smith, and Beth Schroeder who accomplished hurculean feats) the members of the Adult & Youth WC4-HHA Board, and the many Waukesha County 4-H members and their families who volunteered. Your efforts have insured another year of quality youth equestrian events and education in Waukesha County. THANK YOU. |

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2010: Mandatory Meeting 4-H Horse Project in the North Hall at FORUM building at the Waukesha Expo Center. The meeting starts promptly at 6:30pm. **All 4-H horse project members (and horseless horse members) are expected to attend. Information pertaining to Waukesha County 4-H horse project guidelines/expectations, clinic events and horse show events will be presented and discussed. THERE WILL BE NEW PROJECT INFORMATION PRESENTED AT THIS MEETING AS A FEW CHANGES HAVE TAKEN PLACE SINCE THE LAST PROJECT YEAR. If you are unable to attend, please inform your project leader as each leaders will have access to their respective club member's "informational" packet. Remember: This meeting counts toward your 2010 clinic attendance requirements, so make plans now to attend. Show Dates: Schooling show: April 24, 2010

The Waukesha County 4-H Horse Project concluded the 2008 – 2009 season with our annual awards banquet on Thursday, November 12th and we are pleased to share with you the county-wide placings. We regret that we are not able to mention all participants and thank the many families and volunteers in the Waukesha County 4-H Horse Projects. Horse and Horseless Horse on the agenda: Brenda Wolfe, president of the Waukesha County 4-H Horse Association will be speaking at the Waukesha County Re-discover 4-H event. She will be spreading the word about our horse and horseless horse project, THIS SATURDAY, October 3rd, from 10am to 11am. Interested people can visit the website: www.rediscover4h.org to register or can show up in the UW-W Commons are and be directed to the right area for the informational talk regarding the horse project in Waukesha County. |
