The following Excel spreadsheet details individual horse and rider points as of 5/10/2008. Download here . (This is a 4.7 Meg file) Some points are going to show up in multiple categories because classes like showmanship for instance count for canter, walk - trot & horesless horse. Just check the points that are in your column. You can see the individual classes and placings by selecting the worksheet tabs at the bottom of the worksheet. |

The Wisconsin Hunter and Jumper Association is having a Horse Show on the weekend of June 13-15th at the Waukesha Expo Center. There is going to be a presentation about the United States Hunter Jumper Association given by one of the Board members from the USHJA Organization. There are special programs that are being offered to the Grass Roots Organizations (ie: pony clubs and 4-H clubs) that may interest these organizations to look further into the programs the USHJA is offering the Grass Roots Equine organizations in our area. The WHJA board would like to extend an invitation to these clubs to come and hear the presentation and meet others who also have their interest in horses. The presentation will take place on Saturday, June 14th, in the afternoon when the horse show has concluded for the day. Thank you, Marcia Bobek President - Wisconsin Hunter Jumper Association |

Heather Jansch Bronze and Driftwood Heather Jansch has an amazing talent for capturing not only the form but the entire presence of a horse in her life-size sculptures. More surprizing than her talent is the materials she uses: bronze and driftwood. Click here to go to the Web gallery of life-size horse figures. Members, Parents, Leaders, Alumni and Horse Enthusiasts of all Breeds: Welcome to a new project year as part of the Waukesha County 4-H Horse Association. After more than 30 years of being a Waukesha County 4-H horse project member, alumni and now an adult volunteer leader, I couldn’t be more proud to have been elected to lead the WC4-HHA Board as your President. If you remember the days of our county horse project hosting yearly schooling, novice, spring and fall-round up horse shows in a dual ring/two judge format. And, if you also remember when horses had to be at the Fair for only the actual shows days, then you too have seen this county project change over the years. (I even remember when class entry fees were $1.50!) |

This is a season of change for the Waukesha County 4-H Horse Association. Several officers/board members chose this year to retire from their long-held positions. We all benefited from the dedication of these individuals; some who stayed years past the involvement of their children in 4-H. Fortunately for us, several are hanging around to help train the new board and committee members in the tasks we all took for granted. We wish to extend our utmost thanks to the following individuals:
- Mary Kate Henry | Chris Konkol | Donna Kuehl | Jan Suhm
- Bill Suhm | Susan Telford | Laurie Zielke
