Member Service Requirements

  • Each 4-H horse project youth member enrolled in the Waukesha County 4-H horse project will need to complete member service hours at a sponsored event or horse show.  These hours are required to be eligible for year-end awards and also qualifies the member to compete in good standing at the WI State 4-H Horse Shows.

  • SIX credits (hours) of service required per member, with maximum of 12 hours per family.  Each shift counts as two credits.

  • Service hours signup and tracking is all done through Sign Up Genius.

  • If you can no longer fulfill your time you signed up for, it will be your responsibility to find a replacement and change the information on Sign Up Genius.

  • NOTE:  There will be a 5 point deduction from the member's year end class awards point for each committed volunteer shift not attended.

  • Please sign up for your roles early so we can make sure all roles are covered prior to the shows. An additional 2 hour commitment will be required if you do not sign up by May 1.

  • Adults who want to take on a leadership role or handle money must register as a leader and complete the voluneteer training program HERE
